The Colt 6920 is chambered for 5.56 NATO cartridges, which allows you to safely fire both full power 5.56 or lower powered. The 1:7" twist rate is fast enough to stabilize heavy bullets like the 77gr match round, while still capable of accurately firing standard 55gr ball ammo. The M4 profile 16.1" 4150 chrome moly steel barrel is then chrome lined to make it less susceptible to fouling, reduce corrosion, enhance feeding and increase barrel life.
